DEAFUSION HISTORY

On June 28, 2008, Deafusion was expanded to include an executive board which oversees the issues of racial discrimination within the Deaf community.

The board consists of varied ethnicities and the Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Hearing.

The establishment of this board was motivated by the awareness of issues that are evident within and outside of the Deaf community, but directly affects the Deaf with regards to discrimination based on both race and handicap.

Our sole ambition is to address, educate and institute policy's and programs which in the long-term will abolish racial discrimination on both a national and global scale.
